Once your CD is opened, additional deposits cannot be made during the term. However, when your CD reaches maturity, you’ll have a 10-day grace period beginning on the maturity date to add funds. During this grace period, you can:
- Request funds to be transferred from your Quontic checking or savings account
- Send a Wire transfer from another financial institution
- Send an ACH transfer from another financial institution
This grace period gives you the opportunity to add funds to your CD before it renews for the next term.
